We operate within a culture of safety where Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils is paramount.  All staff undertake annual training to ensure understanding and implementation of school policies and procedures linked to keeping our children safe.    All staff proactively promote children’s welfare and are committed to listening to children and developing links with parents.

All staff undergo enhanced DBS checks and vetting procedures and our staff handbook sets out clear expectations for all staff.     The school has in place statutory policies linked to Safeguarding (which includes Child Protection ).  Wider policies link to Disability and Racial Equality and Diversity.  All policies are available in the appropriate section of this website or upon request.     If you have an urgent concern regarding Safeguarding please contact the school to discuss this with the family liaison officer or head teacher.
