Home Learning Information

In order to support our families, we have created a dedicated ‘Home Learning’ area on our website. On these pages you will find activities, links and ideas to ensure that learning continues at home, should any child have to isolate.

There are many resources available to support you and your child during this period of home learning. The Government has published a comprehensive list of online resources. Click on the link below to view this.

We will set the majority of the children’s learning as 2Dos in Purple Mash. Click on the button below to go straight to the website. (Opens in a new tab)

The children also have logins for Doodle Maths and we will be setting tasks on there. Click on the button below to go straight to the website. (Opens in a new tab)

There are 4 separate apps for Doodle, which as a school we are subscribed to all of them. They are –

  • Doodle English
  • Doodle Spell
  • Doodle Times
  • Doodle Maths

You will have received an email containing your child’s Doodle login information, if you haven’t, please get in touch with manager@goodnestone.kent.sch.uk and we will get them sent out to you.

Doodle is designed by teachers and adapts to meet you child’s current ability and knowledge – just like a teacher would.  It facilitates frequent practise and provides help and support to learners who are subscribed to the service.

There are lots of good resources on the BBC website which we may include in the learning grids. Click on the button below to open the website in a new tab.

Here are some You Tube videos to show a working model of each of the apps
